A NIGHTMARE neighbour has been banned from entering an area of Trowbridge after persistent anti-social behaviour.

Selwood Housing has obtained an injunction order with the power of arrest for one year on Paul Mills, of Francis Street, and begun legal proceedings to end his tenancy due to his anti-social behaviour.

The injunction order prohibits Mr Mills from entering the Seymour estate area of Trowbridge and also from assaulting, threatening, intimidating, causing a nuisance or annoyance or using foul or abusive language towards anyone who lives or is otherwise engaged on the Seymour estate.

Under the order he must also not assault, threaten, intimidate or use foul or abusive language towards anyone who works for Selwood Housing.

If Mr Mills breaks these conditions, the police can arrest him immediately.

Selwood Housing's operations director Paul Moore said: "We have taken this action to protect the residents of the Seymour estate and the people who work there.

"We take strong steps to deal with people who fail to respect the people who live and work in their neighbourhoods."

The injunction was obtained on Tuesday and served on Mr Mills on Wednesday.

If anyone sees the terms of the injunction being broken, they should call the police on 999 and also Selwood Housing on 01225 715715.
