Police hunt after attack on bouncer

THREE men are being hunted by police after they attacked a bouncer in Westbury on Saturday night.

The incident occurred at the Ludlow Arms pub in Market Place at 11.45pm.

Police believe more than 30 people were outside the pub at the time and could be possible witnesses to the attack.

Jim Stannard, Acting Inspector of Westbury and Warminster police, told the Wiltshire Times: "The patrons of the licensed premises were shocked by the actions of these men.

"The Ludlow has worked very hard over recent months to become a very safe premises and incidents like this are very distasteful and concerning to the community.

"Should members of the community be able to assist us in locating them it would be excellent and they can do so in confidence."

If you have any information about the incident call police on 0845 408 7000.

Sophie Morris, the manager at the Ludlow Arms, was not on duty at the time and declined to comment to the Wiltshire Times.
