FIVE friends from Westbury have united to form JAKES Wombats to participate in a charity event in London tonight.
The team - Judith Dagger, Alison New, Karen Bishop, Elizabeth Cousins and Sally Murrant - are taking part in the Playtex Moonwalk and have been inspired by team member Elizabeth's sister who is currently fighting cancer.
The event is a moonlit marathon which starts and finishes in Hyde Park.
All team members have had a close member of their family affected by cancer and therefore feel passionate about supporting the breast cancer charity.
The event is organised by health charity Walk the Walk Worldwide with JAKES Wombats being among 15,000 walkers taking part wearing decorated bras.
The purpose of the walk is to encourage women to think about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Organiser and founder Nina Barough said: "The Playtex Moonwalk is about women and men taking charge of their lives by not only getting fitter themselves by taking the challenge on but by uniting in the common bond of making a difference to vital breast cancer causes."
The team calculate that they have collectively walked more than 1,000 miles in preparation for the event with only the odd blister to show for it.
The team's target is to raise £1,500 and would welcome any donation through www.justgiving.com/judithdagger
