The event has been organised prior to their village day on Saturday June 14.

She said: "I joked with my congregation that I was going to have a t-shirt made up with litter picker vicar' on.
"We thought it would be good idea to have a good clean-up before the village day, but also to bring to people's attention the importance of looking after the environment."
Chairman of Dilton Marsh church events committee Alison Irving said: "I have arranged with the district council to get litter pickers and plastic bags, and the district council will be collecting the rubbish afterwards.
"We want to do this on a more regular basis. We used to do this once or twice a year so hopefully this will infuse people to help.
"The more people the merrier. You don't have to do lots but the more people we have the more we can spread the load."
The committee has asked that people bring their own gloves.
For information and to take part please call church event committee member Guy Morris on (01373) 827450.
