PLANS to build a £15m Mechanical Biological Treatment plant in Northacre Industrial Park, Westbury, have been put on hold again after a council committee asked for more time to gather information.
Wiltshire County Council's regulatory committee deferred the issue at a meeting on Wednesday so more information could be obtained from the environmental health department and Westbury Dairies, who are concerned about the close proximity of the plant to their site.
The planning application for the plant, which will include a £1m household recycling centre, could be discussed at the next regulatory committee meeting on September 9 if all the information has been collated.
