Rock band launches new EP

A YOUNG rock band from west Wiltshire have just finished recording their second EP.

The Deads EP by Port Erin is being launched at Invention Studios in Bath on Friday May 16.

Port Erin are Jacob Tyghe, 19, who plays bass and Reuben Tyghe, 21, who plays guitar and sings, both from Broughton Gifford, and Cerys Brocklehurst, 19, who plays drums.

The Bath show is part of a two week UK Promo Tour and Port Erin are steadily becoming one of the south west's hardest working DIY bands.

Since forming in March 2007 they have completed more than 100 shows building a loyal fan-base around the UK .

Recent highlights include a 50 date UK tour, two sold-out shows in Bath, and headline slots at London's 100 Club, 333 and Bull and Gate.

The band are to hit the road once more this month for an extensive tour of the UK to promote the release of the The Deads EP.
