I WOULD like to thank the people of Bradford on Avon for raising £73.9 during my street collection on April 7 in aid of Compassion In World Farming, a charity advancing farm animal welfare.

ON behalf of the Research Institute for the Care of the Elderly, could you please pass on my thanks to the people of Trowbridge for kindly supporting our collection on April 21 With the help of seven people who kindly donated their time we raised over £350 to help us in our research.
The institute is a registered charity, based in Bath, largely dependent on donations in order to continue its research programme and we are extremely grateful for the support of the people of Trowbridge. It is a great encouragement to all the staff carrying out the research work to improve the quality of life for older people everywhere.
