EVO-STIK LEAGUE SOUTHERN PREMIER DIVISION: Kettering handed league deadline

CRISIS club Kettering Town look to have just seven days to save their future.

The Northamptonshire outfit, who are yet to face Chippenham Town in the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division this season but drew 1-1 with Frome Town in September, have been set a deadline of October 31 to "satisfy certain conditions placed on them by the League".

Kettering were demoted from the Conference Premier in May after entering a CVA (company voluntary arrangement) and were only able to field ten players in their 7-0 defeat at the hands of Bashley earlier this month.

Their clash with St Neot's Town this weekend has been postponed.
