BOBSLEIGH: Jackson outside top 10 in Altenberg

John Jackson in action in Altenberg today
TROWBRIDE pilot John Jackson finished 101th in the latest round of the FIBT World Cup series in Germany this morning.
Jackson, with brakeman David Coleman on board, looked on course for their highest finish of the season when they lay fifth after the opening run in Altenberg.
However, a slower second effort slipped them down the field with a total time of 1:56.35 as German crews completed a clean sweep of the medal placings on their home track.
Jackson goes again with his Great Britain 1 four-man crew tomorrow.
