TROWBRIDGE bobsleigh pilot John Jackson will have former Olympic sprinter Craig Pickering as his brakeman for this week's two-man World Cup event in Germany.

Pickering, who only began training with the squad last month, will make his debut with the Paxcroft Mead pilot in Koenigssee tomorrow.

The 26-year-old, who competed in the 100m and sprint relay at the Beijing Games in 2008, pushed a bobsleigh for the first time on Monday and will be contention for a place at the World Championships in St Moritz at the end of the month.
