FOOTBALL: Weather disruption hits fixtures
11:20am Saturday 12th January 2013 in Sport
OVERNIGHT rain again disrupted today's football fixtures.
Westbury United's Wiltshire Senior FA Cup quarter final with Bemerton Heath Harlequins was a casualty, as was Melksham Town's Toolstation League First Division trip to Wnterbourne United.
In the First Division, Warminster Town's home clash with Welton Rovers was also off but, as of 11am, matches involving Calne Town, Corsham Town, Bradford Town and Devizes Town were going ahead.
Pewsey Vale's Sydenhams League Division One home meeting with leaders Team Solent was called off, but the Hellenic League Division One West matches for Malmesbury Victoria at Lydney Town and Wootton Bassett Town at Old Woodstock Town were still on.
In the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division, Chippenham Town's home clash with Gosport Borough and Frome Town's visit to Leamington were going ahead as planned.
