TROWBRIDGE bounced back from their narrow defeat at Sherborne with a bonus-point Southern Counties South succcess at South Marston.
The visitors made hard work of the opening exchanges against an improved Marine pack with the stalemate broken only by a Lloyd Davis penalty at the end of the first quarter.
After that, coach Steve Ojomoh’s men visitors started to dominate with tries from Adam Sullivan and Jackson Szabo, Davis adding the extras for a comfortable 17-0 interval lead.
Ojomoh’s front row change to bring on Sean Jones early in the second half seemed to galvanise the pack and led to the next score from Jones.
The next passage of play saw two excellent individual tries from Szabo with Davis adding the extras.
Ojomoh introduced Tom Coombs and Dave Martin for Adam Sullivan and Lloyd Davis and in the final moments, Kyle Knight scored under the posts and added the conversion himself.
