CHIPPENHAM SUNDAY LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION: Colerne eye up Rangers success

SO FAR this year their have only been four fixtures played in the S.K. Fruits Limited Chippenham Sunday League Premier Division.

This weekend will hopefully see two more completed.

Meadow Lane, Westbury is set to host the match between Westbury Rangers and WG Parr Trophy finalists FC Colerne, who will be bidding for a first league win in three after defeats to Biddestone and Semington Rovers.

The first meeting of the clubs this term is hard to call, but with Westbury only having played once in 2013 it may just give Colerne the slight edge.

Barry Holloway’s FC Jager side will look to put last week's Sunday Cup exit behind them when they entertain near-neighbours Semington Rovers at The Beeches.

Jager's only hope of silverware this term lies with them being able to finish in the top two of the division and the Melksham-based side, who are currently second, four adrift of leaders Biddestone Social, should have few problems in following up their 4-1 win over Rovers from the opening day of the season.
