RUGBY: Wilson free to face Gloucester

BATH prop David Wilson has been released by England to face Gloucester in the Aviva Premiership on Friday night (8pm).

Wilson, whose Six Nations Championship appearances have been restricted to substitute cameos so far, trained at the club's Farleigh House base today and will be available for selection against Bath's west country rivals.

Wilson was one of 10 England players released from England duty back to their clubs for this weekend's Aviva Premiership action.

Weales prop Paul James was also with the club today, although it is unclear whether he will be free to play.

After the weekend's domestic action, head coach Stuart Lancaster's England squad will reconvene at their Surrey base on Monday.

The unbeaten RBS 6 Nations Championship leaders entertain Italy on March 10, then tackle in Wales six days later for what could be a title decider.

Tickets are still available for Bath's clash with Gloucester on Friday. Call the ticket office on 0844 448 1865.
