MELKSHAM Town are through to the final of the Wiltshire Senior Cup.
Dave Clayton's side, who were reinstated in the county competition after Bradford Town were ejected for fielding an ineligible player in the previous round, held their nerve to claim a penalty shoot-out victory over Bemerton Heath Harlequins at Warminster Town's Weymouth Street ground.
Gary Higdon netted twice for Town but the scores were level at 2-2 after extra-time last night.
But Melksham keeper Gareth Evans starred in the shoot-out with three saves while successful efforts from Higdon, Josh Robinson, Ian Jeffrey and Luke Smith sent the Conigre side through.
Clayton's men will go head-to-head with Downton, another Sydenhams League outfit, in the final on April 20.
