That deflected McClennan strike gives Chippenham a one-goal lead going in to half-time. The Bluebirds have gone close to carving out a few more goalscoring opportunities but just haven't been able to profit from the success Griffin is having in the air. A positive first period from the home side though

Griffin is winning everything in the air but the Bluebirds just haven't been able to reach those second balls. If they can do that, they'll have some real joy in this game

That would have been a superb equaliser for the visitors, matched by a brilliant save from the Chippenham goalie
What a save from Ben John. Davies instinctively picks out Gillespie with a dinked ball over the top of the Chippenham defence but John dives quickly to his right to deny the Poole striker
