ONE of the matches of the day has to be the one at Atworth where Staverton entertain old adversaries Goatacre CC.

The hosts will again be looking towards new signing Scott Askew to fire them to victory against a side they have failed to beat in their last three meetings.

Askew was on top form last weekend scoring two against Corsham Wlidcats and if he hits form again then the hosts have a good chance of ending the hoodoo.

Kings Arms (All Cannings) host Corsham CC Wildcats hoping to build on last week's draw with North Star A.

The villagers will give it their best shot but they face a Wildcats side looking to bounce back from their 3-0 loss to Staverton.

By the time Scott Fleming’s side arrive in Cannings they should their first choice 11 available which could spell trouble for the hosts.

After claiming one of the results of the opening day when they beat White Horse 3-2, Bromham (Sunday) will be hoping that it won’t be a case of after the Lord Mayor’s show when they visit North Star A, who themselves opened with a draw against the Kings Arms.

North Star have not managed to beat Bromham in their last four attempts and it is the villagers who ought to take the spoils again.

Prestige Bodyworks visit White Horse (Sunday) A bidding for their second win of the campaign, while the hosts will be hoping to last week's surprise loss at Bromham behind them.

This will be the first ever time the sides have met.
