Chippenham Town manager Steve Winter on this afternoon's victory over Redditch United, his first since becoming the Bluebirds' permanent boss: "There wasn't much difference between today and last week and it's just funny how little mistakes change games.
"Today we haven't made those mistakes. We were so disciplined at the back and the first chance I've had to play Griff (Alan Griffin) up front because Muzza (Ben Murray) is fit now - the defence were outstanding.
"We looked more organised at the back, more organised in midfield and better up top.
"We had 17 chances last week and put one away but this week, we took our chances. The big man's got his hat-trick and it was an excellent performance."
It was a good performance from the Bluebirds this afternoon, who neutralised Redditch's threat and were on the front foot for most of the afternoon.
Griffin stars with a hat-trick but there were also standout performances from James Guthrie and Stuart Tovey
Chippenham bounce back to winning ways, thanks to a hat-trick from Alan Griffin.
It's Steve Winter's first win as Bluebirds manager and three points was just the ticket this afternoon after last week's disappointing display against Bedford.
FULL-TIME: CHIPPENHAM TOWN 3 REDDITCH UNITED 0
Redditch are a beaten side now and look desperate for the final whistle to put them out of their misery
Purnell is not pleased with Griffin! The midfielder goes on a jinking run and his strike rolls free after hitting keeper Catlow. Both Purnell and Griffin go to knock in the rebound but get in each other's way and the chance goes begging!
At the other end, Sterling-James almost gets in after a loose ball from Allward but John saves well at the Redditch man's feet
That should be that for the Bluebirds, who have comfortably been the better side this afternoon. Five minutes to go here
Chippenham go for another, with Guthrie having a strike saved by the legs of Catlow
Hat-trick for Alan Griffin! McClennan plays a great one-two with Lennox and drills the ball in for Griffin to bundle over the line for his third of the afternoon

At the other end, the visitors threaten. Sub Kyle Patterson turns his marker and gets into a shooting position but his strike is well blocked
SUBSTITUTION: Knighton so close to ending his afternoon with a goal. But the striker goes off to be replaced by Joe Lennox. Just over ten minutes remaining
Chippenham SO close to grabbinb a third goal. McClennan breaks forward and plays in Knighton but keeper Catlow gets his body in the way of the strike.
From the rebound, Griffin fires goalwards but Catlow superbly dives across goal to palm away the effort
Griffin is booked, much to the chagrin of the home crowd, for swinging a leg in the direction of Conteh
Joe McClennan drives towards the area and cuts on to his left foot but drags his effort well wide
Griffin brings down a great ball from McClennan and then picks out Knighton with a smart reverse pass but keeper Catlow is off his line quickly to clear the danger
And Bluebirds striker Griffin takes no prisoners, thumping the spot-kick straight down the middle with power. It's 2-0 Chippenham at Hardenhuish Park

The Bluebirds pump a ball into the box and Griffin goes down under the attentions of James Mutton.
Griffin to take the spot-kick...
PENALTY TO CHIPPENHAM
It's another good position for a free-kick as Guthrie is penalised for diving in but Sammon's effort is way too powerful and it flies well over the bar
But Sterling-James' effort hits the head of Griffin
Tindle is booked for tripping Sterling-James. Redditch win a free-kick in a great position
Redditch's Ashley Sammons picks up a mis-controlled ball and fires goalwards from range but that's well-watched by John
SUBSTITUTION: Joe Tumelty comes off early in the second period to be replaced by Harley Purnell
The Bluebirds' Harley Purnell is dressed and ready to come on from the bench...
The ball breaks into the Chippenham area and Sterling-James fires a snapshot, which flies narrowly past the post
Keeper John geets a strong punch to the ball to clear the danger from a Redditch corner and Bairoh Conteh is on the receiving end of a heavy whack, with the United defender writhing around in pain on the floor
Chippenham almost get in early on, with Griffin winning the ball off a Redditch defender, but McClennan's shot is well wide
Second half underway. No changes from either side
And the two teams emerge for the second half
Make sure you stick with Bluebirds Live for all of the action from the second half
And the Bluebirds hold a 1-0 lead at half-time thanks to that goal from Griffin.
Chippenham have defended really well so far and are good value for their lead, but we've been here before - it was 1-0 at half-time this time seven days ago, with Steve Winter's men going on to concede four times in the second period.
The hosts will be hoping to build on their advantage in the second period this time around
CHIPPENHAM TOWN 1 REDDITCH UNITED 0
Sterling-James puts Ahkenkorah in with a superb ball over the top of the back line but Tindle does well to cut out the danger
It's all gone a bit scrappy in the last five minutes or so with neither team able to get the ball down properly
The visitors' Leavi Oshungbure gets a shot away and his effort hits Ahkenkorah, who is in prime position to get a shot away, but he's denied by a superb block from Murray
Redditch have made a positional change, with winger Ahkenkorah swapping places with striker Molyneux
Redditch win a free-kick in a shooting position. It's struck by Ahkenkorah but his side-footed effort is easy for Ben John
Chippenham pepper the Redditch area but as the move breaks down, Joe Tumelty brings down Jamie Molyneux and is booked
Guthrie does superbly well to beat full-back Connolly to the ball and get in a cross. Alan Griffin is looking to meet it and is appealing for a penalty after being pressurised in the area.
Play continues, with Tumelty teeing up Knighton, whose shot is saved by Catlow, but McClennan drills the rebound into the area and Griffin is on hand to side-foot home to give the Bluebirds the lead
CHIPPENHAM TOWN 1 REDDITCH UNITED 0
Chippenham have created the better chances so far this half and dominated posession. Crucially however, they've not quite managed to get in behind the Redditch defence.
It's still goalless at Hardenhuish Park
The ball is powerfully cleared by a Redditch defender and it misses a Chippenham spectator by inches! That would have been painful
The Bluebirds man curls one into the danger area but it's eventually cleared by the visiting defence
Chippenham win a free-kick in a promising position on the left wing. McClennan to take...
Chippenham break with purpose again and the move ends with Iain Harvey going for goal but that's comfortable to Catlow
McClennan finds an inch of space and stings the hands of Redditch keeper Bradley Catlow with a powerful effort from just outside the area
Stuart Tovey mis-places a header and the ball drops to Sterling-James but the Bluebirds full-back recovers well to deny the Redditch man an effort on goal with a well-timed sliding challenge
There's a fairly good tempo to this game so far and Alan Griffin has been holding the ball up well. Guthrie is winning his individual battle with Redditch winger Omari Sterling-James so far
James Guthrie shows good pace to get to a loose ball and sets up Joe McClennan, who cuts into the box and attempts to set up Tom Knighton. But Knighton can't get his shot away as he'd denied by a last-ditch block in the area
At the other end, Luke Connolly gets a cross in but it's headed wide of the target by Edwin Ahkenkorah
Chippenham carve out the first chance, with Joe Tumelty's effort being deflected over the bar
And we're off!
Redditch will kick us off, going from left to right, down the slope
And out they come, nice and early!
Chippenham Town and Redditch United are in the tunnel at Hardenhuish Park
Around 15 minutes til kick-off at Hardenhuish Park. Can Chippenham make up for that 4-1 disappointment against Bedford last weekend?
Bluebirds keeper Ben John has just returned to the dressing room early, grimacing slightly after tweaking his ankle in the warm-up.
Chippenham will be hoping that's nothing serious as there's no back-up keeper in the squad today
So it looks as though Steve Winter will set his side up in a 4-4-2 this afternoon and the Chippenham manager will be relieved to be able to call on the services of two centre-backs in the heart of his defence, with Alan Griffin returning to his natural position up front.
It'll be a home debut for Murray today, who has managed just 45 minutes in a Bluebirds shirt so far.
REDDITCH UNITED: Bradley Catlow, Luke Connolly, Joseph Ballinger, Leavi Oshungbure, Bairoh Conteh, James Mutton, Omari Sterling-James, Ashley Sammons, Harvey Headley (c), Jamie Molynuex, Edwin Ahenkorah.
SUBS: Alex Price, Kyle Patterson, George Westwood, David Bridgewater, Sam Hornby
CHIPPENHAM TOWN TEAM TO PLAY REDDITCH UNITED: Ben John, Stuart Tovey, Jack Allward, Ben Murray, Greg Tindle, Iain Harvey, Joe McClennan, Joe Tumelty, Alan Griffin (c), Tom Knighton, James Guthrie.
SUBS: Harley Purnell, Joe Lennox, Shane Blackmore, Luke Murden.
The teams are in. Murray is fit enough to start for Chippenham whilst Harley Purnell has to settle for a place on the bench again, with Joe Tumelty looking like he'll start in the middle of the park.
Today's visitors Redditch currentely sit fourth-from-bottom in the league table after eight games.
Chippenham will be searching for more joy against the Worcestershire outfit this afternoon though after suffering two losses last season.
Striker Isaac Reid is also not invovled today but defender Ben Murray, who wasn't fit enough to come off the bench against Bedford, is out warming up and the hosts will be hoping he can return to partner Greg Tindle at the back today.
The main team news for Chippenham is that striker Lee Phillips misses today's clash wiht a broken hand. The striker sustained a crack to one of his finger bones during last weekend's loss to Bedford Town but doesn't quite remember how it happened!
