AFC Melksham and near-neighbours Steeple Ashton Rangers will meet at Christie Miller, with both teams looking to register their first S.K. Fruits Limited Chippenham & District Sunday League Premier Division win of the season.
Melksham were unlucky not to get anything from their game with Westbury Rangers last week while Ashton haven’t played since they beat Miller Sports B in the Knockout Cup a month ago.
Should the game go ahead it is Melksham who are being tipped to end their six-match losing run.
If, as expected, Westbury Rangers can beat Semington Rovers for a second time this season, Shaun Gardiner’s side would find themselves top of the table.
Although Rangers won the previous encounter between the sides 5-2 they won’t be taking anything for granted as they know that on their day the visitors to Meadow Lane are capable of upsetting the odds.
For a second successive weekend Tom Perkins' Castle side are likely to miss out on a game, with the Devizes-based side set to met FC Colerne for a second week running and with the villagers still on suspension with the County FA.
