LEE Phillips' late leveller ended Chippenham Town's recent poor run as they earned a point at Steel Park this afternoon.

Mark Collier's visitors arrived on the back of defeats at both Weymouth and Poole Town and trailed twice before Phillips, back in the side folowing a recent hamstring injury, struck on 86 minutes to earn his side a draw.

Corby grabbed the lead in the dying moments of the first half as Sam Ives' neat finish broke the deadlock.

However, Chippenham levelled just after the hour mark when Joe McClennan crossed and James Guthrie fired home.

The Bluebirds fell behind for a second time 15 minutes from time when Aman Verma fired past Matt Bulman from a free kick.

But Phillips bagged the point his side deserved as he headed hom while unmarked in the six-yard box.
