Thanks for following Bluebirds Live

9:51pm

The floodlights went out midway through the second half and with that, Chippenham lost their spark.

AFC Totton have notched up just three wins this season and two of them have come against the Bluebirds, who have picked up just one point from a difficult run of four away games

9:50pm

AFC Totton 3 Chippenham Town 1

9:46pm

Guthrie smacks a cross that stings the palms of keepr McCormack as the clock winds down

9:41pm

SUBSTITUTION: Callum Wright comes on for Alex Ferguson

9:40pm

There's a cloak of mist over the pitch at the Testwood. Maybe Chippenham could get this game abandoned for poor visibility?

In truth, it's looking like a disappointing defeat as the Bluebirds conceded two from two set-pieces to crumble in Hampshire

9:37pm

But that looks like the end of any Chippenham comeback. From a corner on the opposite side to the second goal, Moth's delivery is met by the head of Luke Roberts, who sees his effort loop into the net over the head of John

9:36pm

9:33pm

So there's around 13 minutes remaining for Chippenham to rescue something here. Collier has thrown on some more attacking options - will it pay off?

9:30pm

SUBSTITUTION: Tyron Leigh comes off for Corey King

9:29pm

And the hosts almost go further in front. Edwards loops a ball into the path of Roberts, who jinks past Tyron Leigh and fires not far over the bar

9:26pm

Maybe Totton quite literally engineered that break? The hosts win a corner and substitue Sam House thumps home a header from James Jennings' delivery to send the Testwood into raptures

9:25pm

AFC TOTTON 2 CHIPPENHAM TOWN 1

9:24pm

Totton's Taylor Edwards steals a march on Purnell but Greg Tindle expertly cuts out the danger, covering for his full-back.

But Totton carve out another chance moments later and John has to tip away a Roberts effort

9:23pm

For a third time, we're back underway! We start from a Totton throw-in

9:22pm

And the two teams are back out. We'll be back underway soon by the looks of things

9:21pm

The lights flicker back on at the Testwood - that didn't take ten minutes at all!

9:18pm

9:18pm

So there's an unexpected break at the Testwood Stadium. Both managers may appreciate the chance for an extra team talk but it's certainly not what a chilly crowd of 237 would have wanted.

We'll keep our ear to the ground for any updates

9:13pm

The referee is currently chatting to the two managers and both sets of players are returning to the dressing room as the match is temporarily postponed.

We're told that the floodlights will take around ten minutes to warm back up before they can be turned back on

9:11pm

Half of the floodlights have just gone off! The right side of the pitch is plunged into darkness as Totton make a substitution. What this means for the match continuing is up to the referee...

9:01pm

The game has entered a bit of a lull in the last ten minutes or so. Some good possession from Chippenham but they haven't gotten in behind the Totton defence again yet

8:52pm

SUBSTITUTION: The injured Lee Phillips comes off for Tom Knighton

8:51pm

Phillips holds the ball up on the right wing but immediatley signals to the bench to indicate that he's picked up a knock. Looks like it may be a hamstring problem

8:50pm

Dean spreads a nice ball out to Guthrie, who stands up his full back before smacking a ball goalwards from a tight angle.

Keeper McCormack punches away at his near post

8:47pm

No changes at half-time for either side as Totton kick off

8:46pm

The two sides are back out for the second period. We've had a bit on entertainment up in the press box during the break as two Totton supporters got into a heated argument but the excitement has all died down now

8:44pm

So it's level pegging at the break but the Bluebirds will be disappointed to have gone behind midway through that first period.

Totton are a side in wretched form and Mark Collier's men will be hoping that they can pile on enough pressure in the second half to take all three points down in Hampshire this evening.

8:33pm

It SHOULD be 2-1 to hosts Totton! Moth wins the ball back in the heart of midfield and slides in Roberts behind the Chippenham back line. The Stags man is one-on-one with John but somehow skews his finish when he looked certain to score!

A huge let-off for Collier's side

8:31pm

McClennan sends Macklin racing towards goal with a smart reverse pass but the Bluebirds debutant drags his effort well wide from a tight angle.

At the other end, Totton cut the ball back to the arriving Luke Roberts but his strike deflects off a lime green shirt and rolls harmlessly to John

8:26pm

A goal on his first start for on-loan Swindon Town man Ferguson. It's 1-1 at the Testwood Stadium and there's around seven minutes remaining of the first half

8:24pm

It's a fine equaliser from Chippenham as they level up the scores. Patient play from Monks and McClennan ends with the latter clipping a cross into the chest of Phillips in the box.

The striker holds the ball up well and lays off into the path of the onrushing Alex Ferguson, who smacks home into the bottom left-hand corner

8:23pm

AFC TOTTON 1 CHIPPENHAM TOWN 1

8:21pm

The Bluebirds win a free-kick midway into the Totton half - which the home side are up in arms about - and McClennan goes for a speculative strike from the set-piece, which isn't all that far over the crossbar

8:19pm

At the other end, Mouland breaks forward from the right wing again and his strike is acrobatically pushed away by John.

8:17pm

The Bluebirds go close to grabbing an equaliser. Phillips wins a free-kick in a great shooting position and Pete Monks goes for goal from the set-piece, curling a left-footed effort not far past the post

8:15pm

Totton goalscorer Moth is booked for chopping down James Guthrie with a late, lunging challenge

8:13pm

It's a disappointing blow for the Bluebirds, who had been far the better side in the opening stages - but they're a goal down midway through the first half

8:13pm

But just like that, the visitors take the lead. Zac Mouland puts a cross in between the two Chippenham centre-halves from the right wing and midfielder Alex Moth has space to bundle and effort on to the left-hand post.

The ball bounces back across the goal-line and eventually finds its way into the net off of the opposite upright.

8:09pm

From a quickly-taken free-kick, Purnell gets in down the right flanks and smacks in a teasing cross but Phillips is narrowly beaten to it by a Stags defender

8:04pm

So just like against Corby Town, Harley Purnell starts at right-back.

Rob Dean has been passed fit and partners youngster Ferguson in the hearrt of midfielder whilst Macklin is actually operating on the right wing, with Joe McClennan in behind striker Phillips.

Around 15 minutes gone here at the Testwood Stadium.

8:01pm

James Guthrie is picked out on the edge of the area and tests Totton keeper Joe McCormack with a well-struck cross-cum-shot

7:59pm

A 2-1 victory over the Bluebirds at Hardenhuish Park, back on August 23.

7:59pm

The Stags have lost their last eight games in the league but can you remember when the last time they picked up three points was?

7:58pm

Chippenham bounced back from defeats at Weymouth and Poole Town with a 2-2 draw at Corby Town last weekend and Totton, who are second-from-bottom in the table, have picked up just two wins and one draw all season long.

7:58pm

You could forgive Mark Collier's men for feeling a little bit homesick at present as their visit to the Testwood Stadium represents yet another away fixture. But the Bluebirds boss will be hoping that this evening's fixture presents the perfect opportunity for his side to get back to winning ways.

7:57pm

Apologies for the late start to tonight's live updates. There's been little in the way of goalmouth action so far but the Bluebirds have dominated possession early on.

Pete Monks jinked into the box and drilled in a low cross but Macklin was denied by a last-ditch Totton challenge.

It's goalless after just a few minutes...

7:51pm

Good evening from Hampshire. Unfortunately, traffic issues mean that Bluebirds Live starts tonight with Chippenham Town's trip to AFC Totton already kicked off!
