TROWBRIDGE claimed their eighth straight win in Southern Counties South as they secured a bonus point in difficult conditions.
Visiting prop Sean Jones opened with a score resulting from powerful rucking, Lloyd Davis adding the extras with a difficult conversion.
The only other score of the half came from Trowbridge’s second row Alan Chadwick, who crashed through poor defence.
The second half started with the hosts having the conditions in their favour, kicking to the corners to pin Trowbridge down deep in their own half.
Eventually North Dorset’s Carl Harvey crossed out wide to score their only try of the game, Jay Westcar adding the conversion.
Trowbridge were back on the scoresheet after the hosts conceded several penalties on their own line, Shane Johnstone forcing his way through the defence.
Soon after, Dorset’s Westcar landed a successful penalty.
But to finish the game off James McFarlane ran in to score the fourth Trowbridge try.
