THE  pick of the five matches in Division One this weekend is the match at Stanley Park where Tyrone Prades' table-topping Prestige Bodyworks side go head-to-head with second-placed Bromham in what promise to be a highly-charged contest between the promotion hopefuls.

This will be the first meeting of the sides this term, but seeing at Prestige completed the double over Danny Powell’s side last season, they will be favourites to complete a hat-trick of wins over their guests who will return to the summit should they beat their hosts.

Goatacre CC FC will have home advantage for their first meeting of the season with Corsham CC Wildcats.

A quick glance at the table and it would appear that both teams who have 15 points from their 11 matches to date are evenly matched and that is likely to be the case as game is tipped to end with the honours being shared.

While White Horse A were sitting at home last weekend, Liam Westland’s North Star A side were battling both the weather and Chippenham West End on their way to a 7-0 win, so they will be confident that their upturn in fortunes will continue with another win at Beversbrook.

Third-placed Somerford FC take on Kings Arms (All Cannings) in what will be their second of the meeting this season and as Spike Chandler’s side won the previous encounter 3-0 they will fancy their chances of completing a double.

Basement side Chippenham West End, who have yet to win a league match this campaign, are unlikely to see things change when they visit Atworth for their first get-together of the season with Staverton.

Honours were shared last term with both matches between the sides finishing in a 3-3 draw.
