BRADFORD Town marched into the New Year unbeaten in the Toolstation League First Division and 14 points clear of second-placed Shepton Mallet after notching up their 21st league victory of the season last weekend.

Paul Shanley’s side ran out 4-1 winners against county rivals Calne Town, with goal machine Sam Jordan hitting a brace to take his tally for the season to 57 goals whilst Liam Milburn and Tom Welch also found the net.

Meanwhile, Westbury United made it two wins from three games with a 2-0 triumph over Wells City, with Joe Murray and Charlie Walton on target at Meadow Lane.

Tom Golledge hit a brace in only his second appearance of the season for Warminster Town as Derek Graham and Andy Crabtree’s men shared six goals with Chippenham Park.

Lewis Graham also found the net as Warminster drew 3-3 at Hardenhuish Park.

But there was disappointment for Corsham Town, who went down 2-1 at local rivals Devizes Town.
