BATH powered their way into the quarter-finals of the Amlin Challenge Cup with a bonus-point triumph over Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade.
The visitors made a lightning-fast start, scrum-half Micky Young going over for a try on six minutes and Tom Heathcote converting, before adding a penalty to stretch the lead.
Heathcote set up the next score as he chipped over the defence for wing Tom Biggs to touch down.
Dragons' Steffan Jones got his side on the board with a penalty, but Mat Gilbert went over under the posts for Bath and Heathcote's conversion took the margin to 19.
Leroy Houston was the next to touch down for the visitors, his score securing the bonus point before the interval and a second Dragons penalty made it 27-6 at the break.
Dragons attacked more in the second half and Bath shipped a try as Nic Cudd crossed for the home side, Jones converting.
But Heathcote added a further penalty to round off Bath's triumph and progress with Thursday's final pool match against Bordeaux-Begles at the Rec to come.
