BATH face a trip down memory lane in the Amlin Challenge Cup quarter finals - and could be on course for a meeting with west country rivals Gloucester in the last four.
Bath, who defeated Bordeaux-Begles 54-13 in their final pool match last Thursday, have been drawn at home to Brive in the last eight on the weekend of April 3-6 - a repeat of the 1998 Heineken Cup final between the sides which Bath edged 19-18 to lift the trophy.
After qualifying as top seeds, Bath avoided Northampton, Gloucester and Harlequins, who all dropped into the Amlin from the Heineken Cup.
Should they beat Brive, a semi final away against the winners of the last-eight tie between Wasps and Gloucester awaits them on the weekend of April 25-27.
Amlin Cup quarter-final draw: Bath Rugby v Brive, Wasps v Gloucester, Stade Francais v Harlequins, Sale Sharks v Northampton Saints.
Semi-final draw: Wasps or Gloucester v Bath Rugby or Brive, Sale Sharks or Northampton Saints v Stade Francais or Harlequins.
