AFTER picking up their first win of the season last weekend, Chris Webber's White Horse (Sunday) B side will be hoping to pick up another three points when they travel to Kington Langley for their Division Four clash with Oakhill FC.

The visitors, who were beaten 7-1 in the reverse clash, have a good chance to avenge that loss and if they come up trumps and other results go their way they could move away from the foot of the table for the first time this season.

It’s top verses second-from-bottom at Meriton Avenue, where leaders Corsham Centre Youth will have the welcome mat out for Cavalier, in what many people believe will be another one-sided affair.

Corsham thumped their guests 20-0 when the teams previously met and although the hosts shouldn’t chalk up as many goals this time around, they should pick up another three points as they surge towards the title.

An unbeaten four-match run has seen an upturn in form for Cross Keys Rowde but Josh Scott’s side will have to be at their very best if they are to have any chance of getting the better of second-placed Bath Road FC.

What is the first meeting of the sides should produce a good contest as Rowde are improving with every game, however it is the visitors to Sands Lane who ought to claim their tenth win in eleven games.

The Mallard are due to play hosts to local rivals Bremhill View Boys this weekend and the smart money would be on a Bremhill win as they claimed a 4-0 win when the teams last met.

And with Mallard out to avoid a fourth straight defeat, it looks as if Chris Edes' visitors to Goatacre should remain in the promotion race with what ought to be a comfortable win.
