WITH THE top two sides in Division One missing out on a league fixture due to WG Parr Trophy involvement, all eyes will be focused on matches featuring two of the chasing pack.

White Horse (Sunday) A, who are due to host Bromham (Sunday), may be down in fifth place in the table but they are starting to build up a full head of steam and they will go into their game with Bromham hoping to avenge their 3-2 loss against Danny Powell’s side on the opening day of the season.

Staverton manager Aaron Latchem knows that his team can’t afford to drop any more points if they are to stay in the title race.

The villagers visit Corsham CC Wildcats this Sunday and after opening their campaign with a 3-0 win at home to Scott Fleming’s side, they will be confident of collecting another win, which would see them move to the top of the standings.

Kings Arms (All Cannings) have not won since they beat Staverton 3-1 at the start of December but they will be hoping to turn things around when they host Goatacre CC FC this weekend.

Goatacre have not had the best of times recently and although they beat their hosts 3-0 earlier in the season, they have been in freefall and no win in five games gives Kings Arms the chance to avenge their previous loss.
