WITH Chippenham Sunday League Premier Division leaders The Castle FC in WG Parr Trophy action, three-time defending champions Biddestone Social will take over at the summit if they avoid defeat this weekend.
Next up for Ashley Smith’s side are old adversaries Westbury Rangers, who they have already defeated 3-1 this term, and Social will arrive at Meadow Lane expecting to claim a double over their hosts.
Rangers would alsoe move top of the pile if they were to beat their guests, who have not lost since Bug & Spider beat them 9-6 in a dead rubber at the end of the 2011/12 season.
A week after they met at Christie Miller, Semington Rovers and AFC Melksham will lock horns in the reverse fixture at Rovers' Littlemarsh base.
Melksham, won 9-4 last week and will be confident of taking another three points from their neighbours.
