CALNE Town's clash with Chippenham Park looks set to be one of just a handful of local games to escape today's washout.

Matches across the country have fallen foul of last night's heavy rainfall but Simon Gardner's Lilywhites and Dave Ferris' Park remain set to meet at Bremhill View this afternoon (kick-off 3pm).

Elsewhere in the Toolstation League First Division, Devizes Town's home meeting with Welton Rovers has passed a pitch inspection whilst Warminster Town's Weymouth Street ground has also been passed fit, with Roman Glass St George the visitors this afternoon.

Westbury United are also primed for action as they make the trip to Ashton & Backwell United.

In the Calor League Premier Division, in-form Frome Town are on the road at Corby Town, with Steel Park, in Northamptonshire, given the green light earlier this morning.

But the elements have put paid to the remainder of today's schedule, with wind and rain warnings still in place for the South West today.

Today's postponements:

Calor League Premier Division: Arlesey Town v Chippenham Town

Hellenic League Premier Division: Wootton Bassett Town v Cheltenham Saracens

Toolstation League Premier Division: Melksham Town v Buckland Athletic

Toolstation League First Division: Corsham Town v Portishead Town, Wincanton Town v Bradford Town.

Sydenhams League Division One: Andover Town v Pewsey Vale.
