And that brings this afternoon's action to a close.
Chippenham had to paitent at times but they've bounced back to winning ways after seeing off Bashley.
The visitors put everything in to keeping Mark Collier's men at bay in the first half and there were some frustrating moments for the hosts - particularly that offside goal - but the Bluebirds turned up the heat after the break and go home with three points under their belt
CHIPPENHAM TOWN 2 BASHLEY 0
Not long left now. It's been all one-way traffic in this second period as the Bluebirds stepped things up from the first half
Griffin's cross is spectacularly missed by two Bashley defenders, allowing Dean to cut back into the path of King.
But the winger's side-footed effort is wide of the post
A great long-range delivery from Tindle is well-met by Griffin but under-pressure, the striker heads over the bar
King and Monks link-up, and try to set up Phillips, but the striker looks to be upended by defender Rolls.
Referee Brian Durie however, isn't convinced, and turns down the calls for a penalty
But Bashley, who have pretty much been spectators this half, fashion a chance as Blackmore flicks goalwards, forcing John into a save
After King's cross is cleared, Smith goes for the spectacular from the range but is off-target with his driven effort
Corey King comes on for Harley Purnell with 13 minutes remaining
McClennan and Griffin exchange passes and the former, who has really been tearing into Bashley this half, puts in a cross that goes all the way to Guthrie, whose right-footed volley shoots over the bar
McClennan goes past Brad Strickland with a tidy dummy but then loses his footing and sees the ball trickle out to safety - looks like he out-skilled himself!
Dean punches the ground in frustration after hitting the woodwork again! From a McClennan cross, the ball drops to the midfielder and Dean hooks goalwards as he falls to the floor but sees his strike cannon against the upright
Purnell is knocked over and takes a whack from Bashley's Joyce for his troubles
What a miss! Griffin helps the ball into the path of McClennan and the winger's clever ball plays in Guthrie.
Guthrie is denied his second goal of the afternoon as Jones saves well but the rebound falls to Dean, who looks a shoe-in to sweep home into the net but the midfielder can only fire onto the woodwork!
A Chippenham cross comes in and the ball eventually finds its way to defender Tindle, who has time and space to turn and smack a powerful effort, that whizzes not far over the crossbar
McClennan races towards goal after being played clean through but the Bashley goalie rushes off his line well and bravely gathers at the Chippenham man's feet
After Bashley come from within inches of netting, Chippenham go up the other end and deliver a suckerpunch.
From the left wing, McClennan flashes in a low cross and Alan Griffin meets it, flicking into the side netting to make it 2-0
CHIPPENHAM TOWN 2 BASHLEY 0
Bashley produce a spell of pressure following a corner kick and come within a whisker of levelling things up.
Soetan fires goalwards from just inside the box and smacks the inside of the post!
It's all come to life now! Chippenham go close to making it 2-0 as the ball is worked down the right before eventually finding McClennan.
The winger turns and looks to power home but Jones launches himself across the line to make a superb block.
Griffin's follow-up is charged down by Rolls before Phillips blasts over
But almost instantly, Bashley carve out a great chance to level things back up.
Skipper Jack Odam gets in down the right flank and sweeps the ball into the path of Joyce.
But the striker can't wrap his foot around the ball properly and fires off-target
That's a bit more like it from the hosts. Dean slides a ball into the path of James Guthrie, who holds off his marker before slipping an effort into the bottom right-hand-corner past the despairing Jones
CHIPPENHAM TOWN 1 BASHLEY 0
Guthrie has a shot blocked in the area -the winger didn't get proper contact with his effort though and it was more of a half-chance
Bashley's Lewis Blackmore goes for goal from long range but is well wide of the mark
And we're back underway!
The sides are on their way back out for the second period
After that mix-up late in the half, Bashley are handed a huge let-off and head into half-time on level terms.
The Bluebirds haven't really hit the heights thus far this afternoon and it looks as though the struggling visitors are there for the taking.
As we saw as recently as Monday evening, Collier's men are capable of much more than they're currently showing and they'll surely be looking to step things up a gear and take the game to Bashley
HALF-TIME: CHIPPENHAM TOWN 0 BASHLEY 0
DISALLOWED goal for Chippenham and they don't know whether to laugh or cry!
Monks sublime ball picks out Phillips in the six-yard box and the striker gets in a header, that's heading for the far corner.
Keeper Jones and the Bashley defence are grounded but Griffin charges in and smashes the ball home on the line, only to be greeted with the offisde flag!
The Bluebirds are, unsurprisingly, devastated
A great cross from McClennan is nodded goalwards by Griffin.
His header takes a deflection off a Bashley defender and keeper Jones has to tip it behind for a corner
A long ball from Purnell is superbly brought down by Griffin and his strike partner Phillips takes it off his toe, drawing a save from Jones with a left-footed strike
Purnell goes on a bit of a run and eventually plays the ball to Guthrie. The winger has another go with his right foot and it's a better strike this time but still high over the bar from the edge of the area
Half an hour gone and it's honours even at Hardenhuish Park.
Chippenham have enjoyed some good spells of possession but they haven't really given their visitors many real headaches.
The Bluebirds have a lot more gears to find yet - let's see if they can fashion a breakthrough
A mis-placed backpass is seized upon by Bashley's Manny Soetan but Ben John charges out to make the block and clear the danger.
Minutes later, Soetan goes for goal from outside the area but drags his shot wide of the post
Bashley keeper Jones took a whack there and needed some treatment, but he looks fine to continue
The Bluebirds break on the counter-attack and Dean plays a superb ball behind the full-back to pick out McClennan.
The winger cuts inside and goes for a low ball towards the near post but Phillips' flick is blocked by a combination of defenders and Bashley keeper Nic Jones
Guthrie goes for goal on the half-volley but his effort swerves wide of the top corner
It's been a slightly nervy first 15 minutes so far but the Bluebirds have created a handful of openings.
Of course, they did get undone once though and the visitors should really have capitalised
The Bluebirds put together a nice move. Griffin lays off into the path of McClennan from Bryan Smith's pass and the winger plays in Guthrie with a first-time ball.
But on his weaker right foot, the Chippenham man can only find the side-netting
Early subsitution for the visitors. Ross Lloyd comes off for Tony Rolls with just seven minutes on the clock
Up the other end, a great cross from Rob Dean meets the head of Phillips but he nods over the bar
Bashley should be 1-0 up! A hopeful ball from deep slices through the Chippenham back line and striker Scott Joyce is in on goal.
The Bashley man goes for the near post as he's pressurised by Greg Tindle but his effort rolls wide of the mark
Harley Purnell whips in a cross but Bashley keeper Nic Jones claims it, under pressure from Alan Griffin
Pete Monks has an early effort from range but that's high, wide and over the fence!
And we're underway at Hardenhuish Park
Bashley will kick us off, going from right-to-left
And out they come. Phillips comes out with his Chippenham team-mates, so looks luke he's overcome whatever problem he had
The two sides have come into the tunnel at Hardenhuish Park
Just over 15 minutes to go til kick-off here at Chippenham. Stick with us for all of the action as it happens!
Maybe a slight worry for the Bluebirds - Lee Phillips has just headed back into the dressing room with physio Scott garraway, suggesting he may have picked up a knock.
Hopefully though, it's just a patch-up. There are no other centre-forwards on the Bluebirds bench in the absence of Hopper, but Joe McClennan, or perhaps Corey King, could play in an advanced position.
We'll try and keep an eye on that one
It's a very familiar-looking line-up from Chippenham today. Collier's men will surely be looking to get at Bashley from the off and restore some pridde from thier disappointing loss in Hampshire just a few weeks ago
The two teams are currently out warming up at Hardenhuish Park, which has seen its fair share of sunshine so far this afternoon - a far cry from recent weeks

Iain Harvey is also still not fit to return to action
The shoots of recovery were beginning to poke through last Monday evening as the Hardenhuish Park men put in a spirited performance at promotion-chasing St Albans City but Chippenham will be hoping to do the real bouncing back today.
Chippenham started the month by racking up a three-match unbeaten run but a trip to the New Forest on February 11, with Bashley then bottom of the Calor League Premier Division Table, saw Collier's men slip up on an almighty banana skin as they slipped to a 3-1 defeat.
In the week, Bluebirds boss Mark Collier insisted that this afternoon's clash wasn't a revenge mission – but after the events of the last few weeks, it's difficult to see it any other way.
