THE heavyweight battle at the top of the Premier Division between current leaders The Castle FC and three-time defending champions Biddestone Social ended as predicted with the honours being shared after Biddestone overturned a two-goal deficit at the break to claim a 2-2 draw.
Goals from Dan Sloan and Jack Hopper had give Castle their interval lead. Biddestone halved their arrears through a first of the season from Dan Lardner and it was Lardner with his second of the morning, a stunning finish into the bottom corner after an excellent team build up that earned Biddestone a draw to ensure the race to become champions will go to the wire.
