WITH Division Two leaders Miller Sports A without a fixture this Sunday they could find themselves knocked off the number one spot by either FC Buscots or Southwick Wanderers.

The latter are in the best position to take over at the summit, as Matt Rusling’s side visit Talbot FC and, having already beaten them 4-3 in a nail-biter earlier in the season, the visitors will be hopeful of taking another three points.

FC Buscots will be waiting for Southwick to slip up and the Devizes-based side, who were last in league action way back in November, know that if results go for them and they can beat AFC Avellinos, they could be top of the pile come Sunday afternoon.

Avellinos have not managed a win in seven outings and unless they can conjure up something special, their wait for a first victory since the opening day of the season looks set to continue.

Sutton Benger will look for a third successive victory in all competitions when they play hosts to Potterne CFC on the 3G pitch at Stanley Park this Sunday morning.

One of Benger’s three league victories to date was against Pete Huntley’s side back in October when they won 3-1 so Mark Merriman’s side will be confident that they can do a double over their guests who are unbeaten in three.
