IT MIGHT not be the glamour game in Division Four but the fixture at Northbrook, Market Lavington, between hosts Cavalier and near-neighbours Cross Keys Rowde is certain to draw some interest.

Cavalier, who have not won in five, take on a side who have not played since the middle of December but are unbeaten in four and have yet to lose on their travels.

Second-placed Bath Road play hosts to Oakhill and it would be a surprise if the promotion-chasing side didn’t collect their eighth win of the season to keep them ahead of Bremhill View in the battle for the runners up spot behind champions elect Corsham Centre Youth.

The previous meeting between The Mallard and their local rivals Bremhill View Boys was abandoned with the score at 2-2 as the weather brought a premature end to what was a thrilling match.

This weekend will see the teams go head-to-head in what should be another pulsating derby day battle.
