A 6-1 VICTORY for Devizes-based Castle FC at home to AFC Melksham saw Tom Perkins side open up a six-point lead over defending S.K. Fruits Ltd, Chippenham & District SUnday League Premier Division champions Biddestone Social, although the current leaders have played two games more than Ashley Smith’s side.

Castle, who were two up at the interval, may have finished the game with 10 men, but claimed an easy three points courtesy of goals from Adam Heath who scored twice, Gary Campbell, Doug Dickson, Jake Roberts and Liam Hill, who made up the half dozen from the penalty spot.

Luke Turvey replied for Melksham.
