HAVING seen their previous meeting abandoned with the score at 2-2, The Mallard and Division Four rivals Bremhill View Boys returned to Goatacre to play out high-scoring thriller that Mallard won 6-3 to put a dent in the visitors promotion hopes.

Luke Simpkins scored all three goals for Bremhill View but his hat-trick, which were his first goals for the club, counted for nothing as goals from Lee Holland, Davis Banks, Mark Frost, Jason Dawson and Brett Fairclough who scored twice gave Mallard the bragging rights over their guests as they avenged their 4-0 loss from October.
