HAVING seen their previous meeting abandoned with the score at 2-2, The Mallard and Division Four rivals Bremhill View Boys returned to Goatacre to play out high-scoring thriller that Mallard won 6-3 to put a dent in the visitors promotion hopes.

Luke Simpkins scored all three goals for Bremhill View but his hat-trick, which were his first goals for the club, counted for nothing as goals from Lee Holland, Davis Banks, Mark Frost, Jason Dawson and Brett Fairclough who scored twice gave Mallard the bragging rights over their guests as they avenged their 4-0 loss from October.

AN IN-FORM Oakhill side inflicted on second-placed Bath Road FC only their second defeat of the season after a second-half goal blitz.

Goals from Rob Jefferies, and two goals from Kieran Tarrant put Oakhill 3-0 ahead.

Bath Road fought back with three goals of their own, Ryan Hopkins scoring the first two with Tim Knight scoring their third from the penalty spot.

Kieran Edwards sealed a victory for Oakhill which moved them from fourth to second in the standings.
