MATT FENN'S Division Three basement side Wren FC will play host to Worton & Cheverell (Sunday) at the weekend and Fenn’s men will be out to end their eight-match losing streak, that stretches back to mid-October.
Chris Cole’s visitors to Beversbrook have lost three on the spin but the villagers should emerge triumphant from what will be just their third league outing since the beginning of December.
After weeks of inactivity, both North Star B and Trowbridge Town Supporters Club will be chomping at the bit for a return to action as they look to get their season back up and running.
Trowbridge last played in December when they lost to Melksham Cosmos, whilse the Star were beaten in January by FC North Wiltshire, so having tasted defeat in their last outings, both will be desperate to register a victory.
The earlier meeting of the sides ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw and this one could finish with the points being shared.
