AFC CORSHAM Jaguars booked their place at May’s finals weekend as they defeated Worton & Cheverell 4-0 in the Ron & Edna Sales U15 League Cup showpiece during two days of semi finals at Rudloe’s Leafy Lane complex last weekend.

Jaguars grabbed an early lead following a strike from Aaron Mason 11 minutes in but had to wait until the 52nd minute for their second, scored after excellent individual work by Ollie Poulton.

The third and fourth goals came from George Fortt, while goalkeeper Shaun Mitchell kept a clean sheet at the other end.

Corsham will face Holt in the final after their 5-1 success over Bradford Town Youth.

Holt took the lead after 15 minutes as Alex Watson's long ball reached George Evans who scored.

Evans’ second goal was a left-foot curling drive before Bradford pulled one back.

On half time Holt’s Ciaran Taylor scored with a header.

In the second period, Dominic Allen scored with an overhead kick before Taylor's through-ball to Evans set up his hat-trick.

AFC Corsham will also have representation in the U17s final at Hardenhuish Park on the weekend of May 9-11 after the Black side got the better of their Red club rivals in a penalty shootout.

The score was tied at 1-1, but the Blacks team progressed 3-1 on spot-kicks and will face Derry Hill Blaze, the 3-2 conquerors of Amesbury Town.

Another match to go to a shootout was the U10s semi final between Castle Combe Colts White and Chippenham Town White.

Chippenham led in the second half of normal time but Matthew Robinson’s header restored parity.

After a goalless ten minutes of extra time, Robinson, Toby Bridgeman-Daw, Luke Smith, George White, Max Pearce, Brandon Hearn and Tom Wallace all converted spot-kicks as Colts banished the memory of their last-four exit a year ago.

They will face Marshfield Juniors, who edged out Westbury Lions 4-3, with goals from Freddie Gibbs, Joel Hardy, William Porter and Zac Hale.

At U16 level, Devizes Town Youth Red needed to come from behind and extra time before seeing off Staverton Sports 2-1 to set up a meeting with Melksham Town Tornadoes, the 4-3 winners over AFC Corsham.

Bradford Town Youth Panthers are into the U14 final after kncoking out Frome Town 3-1 after extra time.

Will Chantry gave Bradford the lead in normal time, but it required goals from Aiden Green and Max Smith in the first period of extra time to progress.

Melksham Town Hurricanes narrowly failed to join them as Bath Arsenal claimed the final berth with a 4-3 victory.

The U13 semi finals were both won comfortably, Warminster Highbury Reds defeating Westbury Youth Lions 5-0 and Amesbury Juniors going one better with their 6-0 success over Alderbury.

Highbury Reds are also through to the U12 final after seeing off Trowbridge Town 2-0 and will meet Devizes Town Youth Red, who scored four times in the second half to beat Bradford Town Youth Pumas 5-1.
