And that brings proceedings to an end.
A desperate first half saw Chippenham leave themselves with too big of a mountain to climb and although they created a few problems for Biggleswade in the second period, it was a relatively comfortable victory for the visitors.
It's a disappointing afternoon for the Bluebirds and it doesn't set them up well for next Tuesday's daunting trip to Hemel Hempstead Town
CHIPPENHAM TOWN 1 BIGGLESWADE TOWN 3
Alan Griffin picks up a booking - not quite sure what for!
Biggleswade's Jon Wolfe was booked earlier on for chopping down Monks
Corey King has been lively since coming off the bench at half-time and the winger gets himself a goal.
Phillips swivels on the edge of the box befor laying the ball off to King.
The Chippenham youngster curls an effort with the outside of his right foot, which beats the despairing Brown at the far post to pull a goal back
CHIPPENHAM TOWN 1 BIGGLESWADE TOWN 3
Chippenham have the ball in the net but it's disallowed!
Guthrie's ball into the area allows King to side-foot towards the bottom corner. Phillips nicks in front of the keeper to backheel into the net, but the linesman's flag comes up for offside!
There's around seven minutes of normal time remaining and it's still 3-0 to the visitors
What a miss! Griffin rolls the ball through the Biggleswade back line, putting King through on the goal.
The winger waits for keeper Brown to move and when he gets his strike away, the ball loops on to the left-hand post.
Monks arrives to latch on to the rebound, with the goal at his mercy, but the Chippenham man somehow knocks the ball wide of the target!
What a save! Biggleswade look to have cleared the danger but Griffin works his way to the byline before cutting the ball back into the area for Monks.
The Chippenham man goes for the top corner with his weaker right foot but keeper Brown produces a superb acrobatic save to knock the effort over the bar.
From the resulting corner, Bryan Smith heads over
There's not a great deal happening in this second half.
The visitors look content to hang on to their comfortable lead and are standing up to everything coming their way thus far
James Guthrie is booked for dissent towards the linesman.
Referee Morris smashes in to the Chippenham winger to stop him running away before producing the card!
Guthrie's smart ball over the top finds King but his delivery is again collected by the Waders keeper, with Phillips closing in
Final change of the afternoon for Chippenham - Lee Phillips is on for Jake Harris
Biggleswade's Lee Smith is booked for throwing the ball at Alan Griffin on the floor!
Monks' corner kick is met by striker Griffin, who knocks the ball back over his head, but the effort smacks into the body of a Biggleswade defender
A throw from John sets Purnell on his way and the full-back clips a ball down the wing for substitute King.
Harris is free in the area but the winger can't quite get his delivery right and keeper Brown gratefully gathers as the counter-attack is curtailed
Griffin and Biggleswade's Evan Key tangle off the ball, and the visiting midfielder comes away with a ripped shirt - referee Kevin Morris has nothing to say about it, however
Monks has the chance to hit one from just inside the area but his powerful effort flashes wide of the far post
We're back underway at Chippenham - can the home side produce a comeback?
Half-time subsitution for the Bluebirds, with Corey King coming on for Joe McClennan
Chippenham emerge first for the second period - presumably after being read the riot act
It's been really below-par so far from the Bluebirds and they've simply not been able to deal with Biggleswade's direct style.
The Waders have pumped balls forward time and time again and their strong frontmen, particularly Donnelly, have proved almost impossible to muscle off the ball.
It's looking like a very disappointing afternoon at the office for Collier's men, unless they can produce something special in the second period
On the stroke of half-time, it goes from bad to worse for the home side.
It's been a bad first half for Chippenham and it's summed up as Jon Beeden misplaces a header, allowing Nat Peacock to run in on goal.
The striker smacks a low shot that slips through the grasp of keeper John before rolling into the net to make it 3-0.
HALF-TIME: CHIPPENHAM TOWN 0 BIGGLESWADE TOWN 3

There's a bit of a problem for the home team - Callum Wright has picked up a knock and goes down for a second time off the ball
A superb ball from deep by Pete Monks picks out Alan Griffin in the area - his first touch is sublime but a Biggleswade defender does just enough to put him off at the vital moment
Guthrie smartly cuts towards the byline but on his weaker foot, skews his cross well high of the mark
It's a disappointing opening 30 minutes for Collier's side - they've got a bit of a mountain to climb already
It's going to need a bigger response now. Joel Mason grabs his second of the afternoon within minutes of putting the visitors in front.
Another high ball is headed away by the Chippenham back line and after it drops to the winger, his volleyed lob arcs all the way over the Bluebirds goalie and into the net to make it 2-0
GOAL: CHIPPENHAM TOWN 0 BIGGLESWADE TOWN 2
There's been a bit of an end-of-season feel to proceedings so far and the visitors have been a lot more comfortable than the Bluebirds would like.
Biggleswade have been very ndirect thus far and from a set-piece, they've fashioned a breakthrough. Can Chippenham produce a response?
There hasn't been much action at all but almost out of nothing, Biggleswade take the lead!
A long free-kick forward from deep is knocked down backwards by striker Brett Donnelly, allowing Joel Mason to fire home from close range, with his strike cannoning in off keeper Ben John
GOAL: CHIPPENHAM TOWN 0 BIGGLESWADE TOWN 1

After a free-kick is cleared, Biggleswade's Joel Mason goes for power but blasts high over the bar from just outside the area
It's a little nervy at the back for the Bluebirds in the early stages
It's Biggleswade who have had the majority of possession in the opening few minutes but Chippenham's James Guthrie has the first effort of the afternoon, rolling a snapshot wide of the target
And we're underway at Chippenham
Biggleswade to kick us off, going from left-to-right
The two teams are on their way out!
In other Hardenhuish Park news, there's a cat loose in the ground, which is currently scuttling around under the main stand!
There's just under 20 minutes til kick-off here at Chippenham, with the two sides on their way back into the dressing rooms.
Stick with Bluebirds Live for all of the action as it happens
There's also a collection taking place for the injured Dean today, with a copy of an article from a certain local newspaper accompanying the signage*.
*(That's a shameless self-plug there)
It's a glorious day at Hardenhuish Park by the way - there's beaming sunshine and a cool summer breeze.
The two sides are currently going through their pre-match routines
Chippenham drew 3-3 at the Waders last November and this afternoon's visitors have been draw specialists in recent months, notching up six stalemates in their last seven league games.
Bedfordshire outfit Biggleswade are currently 15th in the table but they've only played 34 games so far – some sides in the division have already completed 38 fixtures.
BIGGLESWADE TOWN: Ian Brown, Max York, Andrew Iwediuno, Russell Short, Steve Gentle (c), Evan Key, Jon Wolfe, Lee Smith, Brett Donnelly, Nat Peacock, Joel Mason.
SUBS: Lee Allinson, Cameron Mawer, Craig Daniel.
CHIPPENHAM TOWN TEAM TO PLAY BIGGLESWADE TOWN: Ben John, Callum Wright, Pete Monks, Bryan Smith, Aaron Oakley, Greg Tindle, Joe McClennan, Jon Beeden, Alan Griffin (c), Jake Harris, James Guthrie.
SUBS: Jake Simpson, Tyron Leigh, Lee Phillips, Corey King, Harley Purnell.
The teams are in.
Striker Jake Harris (pictured) makes his first Chippenham start after coming off the bench at Chesham last weekend - he comes in for Lee Phillips.
That looks like the only change for the home side
The early team news is that midfielder Iain Harvey, who has been sidelined since January with a calf problem, still isn't fit to make his return from injury today.
Otherwise, it looks like a clean bill of health for the Bluebirds - excluding of course, the stricken Rob Dean, who underwent the first of two knee operations last Thursday
Collier's side face another tough trip next Tuesday evening when they make the trip to league leaders Hemel Hempstead Town, so the Bluebirds will be hoping that they can go into that clash off the back of a positive result at Hardenhuish Park today.
Last weekend, Chippenham produced a spirited opening 41 minutes as they frustrated promotion-chasing Chesham United before a goal not long before half-time sent the visitors on their way to a 2-0 defeat.
The Bluebirds have just eight games of the season remaining and sit 20th in the league table, ten points clear of the drop zone.
Mark Collier's men will be aiming to put a few points on the board in the next few weeks, just to ensure there isn't a nervy finish to the current campaign.
