HAVING picked up maximum points from their two matches on Saturday, White Horse just need another victory to see them crowned Division Three champions.

The Westbury-based side, who were massive pre-season favourites, had four matches remaining in which to get the win they required but they did it at the first attempt by beating United FC 2-1.

The defeat for United also sees them miss out on the runners up spot which is now heading the way of Holt.

First-half goals for Pete Ayton and Kane Scott set up victory for the White Horse men and although Daniel Wosik pulled a goal back for United in the second period and although they searched for an equaliser it always looked as if White Horse had things under control as they chalked up what would be a 14th successive league win.
