BRADFORD Town moved to within five points of the Toolstation League First Division title as they hit bottom side Portishead Town for six on Saturday.

Two more victories will see Paul Shanley's men lift the crown, meaning they could lift the silverware at next weekend's clash at Wellington.

Top scorer Sam Jordan baged another brace and there were also goals for Tom Evans, Jake Hiscocks, Dan King and Shaun Percival.

Calne Town scored twice midway through the second half to decide the fate of the three points in their Wiltshire derby at Warminster Town.

The home side were left to rue a succession of missed chances as the Lilywhites bagged the victory at Weymouth Street.

Calne took the lead on nine minutes when Glenn Armstrong's free kick was met by Tom Slater, whose touch took a deflection on the way in.

Warminster roared back and carved out a number of opportunities, including one which saw Jake Jefferies clear off the line, but the red and blacks eventually equalised when Louis Sparey found the net.

Warminster continued to pressure the visitors, forcing goalkeeper Jamie Bartlett into a number of saves.

Calne retook the lead on 67 minutes when Tom Slater won possession and fired into the corner.

And the Lilywhites sealed victory seven minutes later when Tom Boakes chipped home.

Corsham Town moved up into sixth position with a 2-1 win over Ashton & Backwell United, Gary Banks and Matty Jenkins on target.

Melksham Town were held to a goalless draw by Willand Rovers in the Toolstation League Premier Division.
