DEVIZES-BASED FC Buscots were celebrating back-to-back titles at the weekend.

A year on from their third division championship-winning campaign, Mark Camacho’s side were crowned Division Two champions after beating Fortune Inn 4-0.

In a match that turned out to be a great advert for the Sunday League that was excellently refereed by Ade Hunt, both sides gave their all in what was an entertaining contest which saw Fortune go close to opening the scoring before Phil Little broke the deadlock on 20 minutes to give Buscots the lead.

Shortly after taking the lead Buscots went close to adding a second with only the woodwork denying Nick Oram.

Fortune may have been down at the break but they weren’t out of it as they came storming back in the second half with both Richie Bolter, who fired wide when in a good position and Shaun Blackmore who struck the bar going close to squaring things up for Budge Hylands side before a second from Little derailed their comeback.

The points were finally wrapped up thanks to an awesome long range effort from Jake Waters and the celebrations really got underway when Luke Enderby arrowed a 20-yard free kick into the bottom of the net to make up Buscots quartet.
