BATH duo Jacques Jensen and co-driver Daniel Stanton have set their sights on a new challenge for 2014, with the Wiltshire College Motorsport Team based at Castle Combe circuit, this year.

After making their rally debut on tarmac last season, the crew will now be competing on gravel stages.

“It was always the target to progress onto Forest rallies, last year was a great learning curve and will stand us in good stead for this year” said Jensen.

The pair have changed from the MG ZR used last year to a newly-acquired Renault Clio 172 Cup.

Students will once again be preparing and servicing the car on events, forming an important part of their practical studies.

“This year will be a great challenge for the college, gravel multi venue events will not only be harder on the car but they are more involved logistically. It will be a great practical experience for the students involved.” said co-driver Stanton.

The pair both work for Cooper Tires as test to compete in six events this year, starting with the Somerset Stages this weekend.
