THE first of back-to-back matches between Sutton Benger and local rivals Fortune Inn FC went the way of the latter, whose 4-2 victory means that should Budge Hylands' side win their two remaining Division Two fixtures, they could finish the campaign in fourth spot.
James Harding opened his account for Fortune when he gave them the lead and his second goal quickly followed and gave his team a 2-0 interval lead.
After the break Benger reduced their arrears when James Weston scored from the penalty spot and the villagers were back on level terms thanks to a second from Weston who made it 2-2 with his second spot kick of the game.
Back on level terms, Benger were unable to hold on and goals from Justin Flowers and Joe Hylands in the final 10 minutes wrapped up Fortune’s 4-2 success.
