Barry Meaden, from Melksham, was runner up with 76 lb 2 oz of carp, followed by Tim Martin, from Westbury, with 71 lb of carp.

SUNDAY’S Wilts Angling Open match at Rood Ashton was won by Kevin Rowles, of Devizes, with 137 lb of carp.

Rob Kepner, from Melksham, was next with 124 lb 12 oz of carp, with Nathaniel Johnson, from Melksham, third with 114 lb 10 oz of carp.

Other placings: 4. Pete Neate Holt 94 lb 4 oz; 5. Ian Willetts Bradford 84 lb 7 oz; 6. Dave Bancroft Trowbridge 61 lb 8 oz.

PETE Craig, from Devizes, lifted last Tuesday’s Trowbridge Seniors match at Rood Ashton with 44 lb of carp.

John Blackmore, from Lavington, was runner up with 42 lb 4 oz of carp, with Jim Escott, from Melksham, next with 41 lb of carp.

THE Kennet & Avon Canal at Horton, Devizes, hosted the Sensas event where Preston Innovation Black Horse Green took team honours with 56 points followed by Preston Innovation Black Horse Blue with 48 and Devizes Red with 48.
