JUST three days after Sutton Benger suffered a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Fortune Inn, the sides met again on Wednesday evening in what was the final game of the season for Benger.

On the night it was Benger who came out on top as a 4-1 victory saw them avenge Sunday’s loss. A first goal for the club from Tom Sratton, a first league goal of the campaign for Rhys Merriman and a Chris Miles effort gave Benger a 3-0 interval lead.

Owen Bryan pulled a goal back for Fortune early in the second half but for all their efforts they were unable to chip away at Benger’s lead and a second from Tom Stratton sealed Benger’s win.
