SOMERFORD, who lost out on the Division One title to Prestige Bodyworks last weekend, are still in the hunt for the runners-up spot.

The villagers, who still have to play White Horse FC and Prestige again, need to overcome a potential banana skin in Corsham CC Wildcats to keep their dreams of automatic promotion to the top flight alive.

Somerford beat the Wildcats 5-2 the last time the teams met.

White Horse A have a slim chance of stealing second place from under the nose of long-time custodians Somerford.

Clive Black’s side, who are unbeaten in 11 games, need to win their two remaining fixtures. Kings Arms (All Cannings) could pose a threat to the Westbury-based side's hopes of claiming successive promotions as they held their hosts to a rare goalless draw the last time the teams met.
