CHIPPENHAM Town directors Doug and Sandie Webb have stepped down from their roles at the Hardenhuish Park club.
The duo, who have been involved with the Bluebirds for 37 years, will end their active duties with Town, a club statement revealed.
Chairman Neil Blackmore said: "It is with much sadness that I have to inform you that Doug and Sandie Webb have decided to hang up their boots and retire from their role as Directors and their active duties at the club.
"Doug and Sandie have worked tirelessly for over forty years for Chippenham Town Football Club and without their hard work and commitment the club would not be the fantastic club it is today.
"On behalf of the club I would like to say a massive thank you to Doug and Sandie for all you have done for the club and on a personal note, thank you for the support and help you have given me during my tenure as chairman.
"I am sure we will see Doug and Sandie at games next season and on behalf of the club I would like to wish them all the very best for the future.''
Both Doug and Sandie Webb have been club chairman at the Bluebirds, Doug for 19 years until 1997 and Sandie for three from 2005. Doug has most recently been the club's president.
