AN INTREPID team from Bag4Sport Foundation took on the might of Ben Nevis to raise money to help the Wiltshire Times Stars of Tomorrow campaign.

Bag4Sport Foundation director Andy Trusler was joined by Paul Buckingham and fitness instructors Chauntine Lyons and Vicky Baldy from Route2Fitness gym, Devizes, for the Ben Nevis Challenge to help raise money to make the grants possible.

They first climbed the mountain then cycled 25 miles before canoeing across Loch Lochy.

Bag4Sport Foundation raises money to help grass root sport and talented individuals reach their potential and the Wiltshire Times has joined forces with the Devizes charity to give a cash boost to the sporting career of six youngsters.

We have £1,200 to give away to six young sportsmen or women from the Wiltshire Times circulation area and there is still plenty of time to nominate a youngster aged 16 or under who you believe has potential to reach the top in their chosen sport.

Grants of £500 will go to two winners and £100 to runners-up from towns in the Wiltshire Times circulation area to help with coaching, kit or travelling costs to competitions.

We will need to know why they need help and their achievements to date.

Any youngster up to the age of 16 can be nominated but they must not already be receiving a grant from the Lottery or their sporting body.

Fill in the form printed in the Wiltshire Times or for more information go to the Bag4Sport website bag4sport.co.uk or email foundation@bag4sport.co.uk.
