DANNY Talbot finished seventh as Jamaica pulled off a clean sweep in the men's 200m final at the Commonwealth Games tonight.
The Trowbridge Tornado, 23, and the remainder of the field had no answer to a ruthless Jamaican performance at Hampden Park, with Rasheed Dwyer taking gold in 20.14, world number one Warren Weir finishing second (20.26) and Jason Livermore third (20.32).
England's Talbot, who ran in lane six, crossed the line in 20.45.
The Wiltshire star wrote on Twitter: "Disappointed now but won't last long. Focus on relay this weekend and then European Championships in a couple of weeks!"
